It snowed today and I got that thrill of watching it swirl and come down and make something of the little weather system that is forming to ultimately dump 4 inches of the white stuff. That does not seem like much and is not enough to close schools.

A quick post from the East Coast tonight. I head back tomorrow. It seems that my week here went by quickly and I fly back to Calif tomorrow. Good times had with my family. My niece has been hanging here for a few days and we get along really well. We spent some time singing along to Mamma Mia last night and today and then went to see Madagascar 2. ( Read more... )

Holiday good cheer. I am so pleased with my decision to come home for the holidays. Just watching my niece and hanging out with her. She is just an amazing kid with a great personality and an infectious laugh. She got herself up at 6:30 pm and was zonked as we ate our brunch. I think she is napping now. I got back on Saturday and what with jetlag and cultural adjustments, I just have not been able to cope. Heh. But really. The jetlag thing does get to you.
